WE NEEDED PIES FOR A CHRISTMAS PARTY

Back then when shepherd’s pie had little popularity, it was almost impossible to hunt for a good traditional shepherd’s pie. A sharing pie was the only thing left on the shopping list! We decided to just try our hand at whipping one out for the team. Turns out, it was a success!

WE STARTED GETTING MORE & MORE ORDERS

As the years went by, we got more and more orders to make pies for parties. Since then, we have decided to set up a main kitchen and refine our recipes to suit various dietary needs.

WE SPECIALISE IN GRAVY

Our proprietary cooking methods aim to delivery a unique and savoury taste in our pies without making it greasy. Be prepared to be wow-ed with traditional goodness.

The Heritage

Traditionally, Shepherd’s Pies were made using sheep or lamb meat. Prepared by the wives of a shepherd, it was a way for them to reuse the leftovers from the night before, and thus, born was the Shepherd’s Pie. Old recipes included fruit and nuts ingredients – raisins, nutmeg, oranges, currants, and even artichokes.

Today

Today, recipes also include the use of gravy to deliver the flavor of the meat pies. As different countries and regions give a new take on the traditional Shepherds Pie Recipe, new ways have been brought about to bring unite the ingredients and complement each other.
